Our studio

Design direction that feels calm and deliberate

We are a small team of designers and renovation planners who help homeowners make confident decisions before the build begins.

What clients value most

Clear sequencing of decisions and trades Light-led material palettes that age well Documentation that makes building easier

Our story

Built on careful renovation planning

luminous-syntax began in 2014 with a focus on smaller London refurbishments. As the studio grew, we expanded into whole-home renovations and interior architecture, maintaining the same attention to detail that first clients valued.

Early years

We established our reputation by taking on complex terrace layouts where subtle planning made the difference.

Today

We now handle multi-room refurbishments, kitchen redesigns, and full renovation strategies with the same grounded approach.

Looking ahead

Our focus remains on adapting homes for changing lifestyles while improving energy performance and light quality.
